The Bruins repeated as champions in a gritty 6-3 win over the Leafs. The teams combined for 53 penalty minutes with Dan Easter and Jeff Gould scoring 2 goals each for the Bruins and Dean Esser scoring for the Leafs. Other goals went to Rodney Richard and Jeff Sauve. Assists went to Joe Sauve(2), Brian Quinn(2), Tim Vancowenburg(2), Joe Di Cocco(2), Derek McKinley, Joel Hoadley, and Scott Bowen.

The playoff championship is set after the Bruins defeated the Hawks 6-3 and the Leafs beat the Rangers 5-4 in a game that went the distance to a shootout where Tim Vancowanburg scored in the third round to win the game.

The Rangers lost 13-5 losing their 6 goal difference cushion to the Leafs meaning the Leafs got 2nd.

With Leafs 5-4 Win over the Blackhawks and the Red Wings 10-4 Win over the Canadians, the Blackhawks move on as they are ahead of the Red Wings by 3 in Goal Differential. Playoffs Matchups are as followed and will be played on February 24th:
1st Bruins vs 4th Blackhawks 5:30 PM
2nd Leafs or Rangers vs 3rd Leafs or Rangers 7:00 PM
5th Wings vs 6th Canadians 8:30 PM
